Children's Liturgy

Forever striving to be a ‘family church’ welcoming young families and children wholeheartedly, we have Children’s Liturgy in St Thomas’ room during Sunday Mass.

For younger children, who may find sitting through Mass a little stressful, the ‘Family Corner’ in church offers a separate space for them to sit in comfort and play quietly whilst allowing parents to remain in Church and celebrate Mass.

“Children of all ages continue to come along to our Children's Liturgy. We read together the Gospel of the day, sing, dance, act and generally have a fun time worshipping God. The Children's Liturgy is an exciting ministry to our children but also for parents too.

We continue to attract a number of children and parents who have been estranged from the Church for many years.

We are always keen to recruit new helpers. If you feel you would be interested in helping, please speak to Fr.Tom”.
