L'Arche Preston - Opening Doors

All welcome to the launch of Opening Doors - Building Lives. Saturday 26th May
A presentation of their exciting plans to create a welcoming and supportive living spaces for people with learning disabilities within the presbytery.

Welcome and Introduction with One Voice Community Choir at 3pm
Tours and Refreshments 4-6pm

To be attended by the Guild Mayor and Mayoress.

Date: 3rd Sept
We are looking for people in the uniformed services e.g. police, ambulance, hospital etc.
We also need people who are prepared to walk in the costume of these services.

More adult participants needed, please put your name down if your interested, there is a list at the back of church.

English Martyrs School doing a midnight sponsored walk for St Catherine's, others can still join £16

Saturday 2nd June
Part of Guild Wheel Walk ending at Brockholes, Meet at 12:00 at English Martyrs

Saturday 30th June
Town Centre / Avenham Park Walk with Simon Gillespie and Barbara.
Meet at 14:00 at St Ignatius.

Saturday 7th July
Silverdale Walk with Barbeque
There will be two walks, a children's walk and a longer walk, followed by Geoff's Barbeque.
Meet at 12:00 at English Martyrs.

Saturday 21th July
Pendle Hill from Downham or Sabden
Meet at 12:00 at English Martyrs.

Saturday 28th July
Galloway's Morecambe Bay walk, starting from the Grange (by Train from Preston 32 minutes), suitable for children as they have a tractor and trailer to pick up stragglers. Time to be agreed.

Saturday 11th August
Hurst Green walk and possible opportunity to visit Stonyhurst as it sometimes opens in August
Meet at 12:00 at English Martyrs.

Day Retreat - Hyning Hall (Warton, Nr Carnforth)

Next Parish visit - Wednesday 17th October - Monastery of Our Lady of Hyning

Penwortham Work Club for the Unemployed
