‘Let the little children come to me’

 English Martyrs’ Parish Community is committed to following the example of Jesus in welcoming children into our midst. We recognise that bringing small children to Mass can be difficult for those adults accompanying them. We also recognise that unless those adults and children are made to feel welcome then they may decide that they no longer want to come to Mass.

 Therefore, we have created a Children’s Corner in the top left hand side of the church. Here you will find a place where small children* can play quietly with a whole array of child friendly toys and activities.

 We hope that the area will allow you to keep your children occupied whilst still being able to remain in church with us to celebrate the Eucharist. So please feel free to use the Children’s Corner as from today.

 * Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult whilst in the Children’s Corner
