The Finances of the Parish are divided into a number of separate tasks, each of which is vital to the running of our Church: Counting Collections: This involves the counting and recording of all monies collected in Church; offertory and Special Collections etc. Auditing Finances: This is a job for a qualified accountant and involves the examination of Parish financial accounts to check their accuracy. Parish Accounting: This involves the collating, indexing and recording of all aspects of Parish Finances. Helping with Planned Giving (Gift Aid): Involves the documentation of all donations given through the Gift Aid envelopes and the claiming of the repayment of tax under the Gift Aid scheme.
