All churches look nice when flowers are in situ, and St Thomas & the English
Martyrs is no different. On special occasions, particularly Christmas, Easter and Solemn Exposition, we have many extra floral displays, sometimes donated by parishioners. Quite often, we have
flowers donated after weddings and funerals and we do our
best to place them where requested in church. The flowers are
usually looked after by a small group of people on a rota system, but at Christmas, Easter etc.
other volunteers often come in to help and a lot of pleasure is derived from the
result.
