Parish Walks

Parish walks involving parishioners from both English Martyrs' & St Ignatius Parish began with the first walk on 24th April 2004.  Quite a number have been completed and thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The Parish Walks continue with the addition of occasional ’Family Walks’ - shorter and less strenuous walks of 1 or 2 miles which will enable those with younger children to participate.

The Parish walks offer parishioners a fantastic opportunity to socialise & enjoy a day our exploring the beautiful countryside of Lancashire. No transport? Don’t worry!  Just see Fr Tom to make arrangements or contact us.

All those joining the walk meet at 12 noon on the day, in English Martyrs’ Car Park. You are advised to wear warm, comfortable clothing & sensible shoes or walking boots. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
